Not too long ago I stumbled across asciiAquarium, a nifty piece of animated ASCII art. I used Homebrew to install it. Watching the fish, ducks, shark, ship, and hook of asciiAquarium makes for a pleasant diversion when studying.

Carlos Danger Makes His Escape
Former DNC politician Anthony Weiner, who used to go by the limp handle of Carlos Danger and cannot stop sexting, is married to Huma Abedin, Hillary Clinton's main personal aide and crony. An FBI investigation into Weiner's alleged sexting of an underage girl has apparently uncovered more Hillary emails, which has thus reopened the FBI investigation into Hillary's missing and deleted 30,000+ emails.
No matter, I laughed until I cried at this graphic depiction of Weiner's mobile trainwreck.

Some Mac OS X Networking Commands in Terminal
For my networking course, we are assigned some labs that require using a Wireshark, a free packet sniffer. These labs have forced me to start learning some basic commands in Terminal. I am currently running Mac OS X 10.11.
To get one's IP address, assuming en1 to be what you want:
ipconfig getifaddr en1
To find your DNS address:
nslookup -type=ns
To flush the DNS cache:
sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder
